Spring Sprung.

So I really don’t have a whole lot of exciting to report about lately. My days have been full of pedaling. Pedaling my streety bike, a little bit of tall bike jousting, listening. Listening a lot. Listening to people, listening to Buddy Wakefield, damn that guy’s amazing, listening to The Album Leaf. Wanting, I’ve been wanting to hit rubber to road and drive, because sometimes a good dose of escapism is just what you need. Pedaling does some good, but only some good, I want a lot of good. I want so much good that all the bad I build for myself drip dries off my tender toes. I’ve also been reading books, but my attention is so scattered that one book cannot contain me. I pick them up and put them down as quickly as a circus juggler touches flaming chainsaws. Tonight I’m gonna go see John Vanderslice and let him rock me brother rock, and next week when the tires hit the trail and the cruise control hits ‘take me away’ I’ll write to you again, I’ll write to you and let you know I am ok, and if the road is a kind one.
