And the cold rush is done!
It was the most epic contest that you could have had, and the closest in my evaluation to what ski contests should be. The person that has the most fun should be the one that wins. With peer judging and a small number of athletes in attendance it was easy each night to watch the judging videos and forget that it was even a contest. In the end though it was still time to make sure that we got a good judging system down and made a choice each night. Kye definitely deserved every bit of the win that he took home, killing every event like it was his job… oh wait… right. Basically it was the sickest collection of skiers doing all sorts of radness in all sorts of terrain, the snow was all time, the vibe was unmatched, and the skiing was a perfect reflection of all of those things.
